Tenneti Beach Park – A Place Secluded From the City

Posted on

From the amazing visit to the zoo, we decided to relax and enjoy the beauty of the place. So we moved towards the Tenneti Beach Park of Visakhapatnam. It was also located at close proximity to the city, so distance and time were not expensed.

Tenneti beach Park was situated on the Vizag-Bheemili road. We were amused at the name of the park when our driver told us that this park is named as “Tenneti” after a person named ‘Tenneti Viswanadham’. He was a legendary freedom fighter and also a political personality from the city of Vishakhapatnam. We reached the place to realize that it was a well developed and beautiful park. The park is located at the foot of the Kailasgiri Park, and provides a magnificent view of the splashing water of the sea, making this beach the most sited place of the city.

Many people were there-locals and tourists. People come here to escape from the hustle bustle of the busy city. We were witnessing the striking beauty of the place in the evening, with the park sited along the beach was providing a picturesque view of the high mountains and the sea. The place was flooded with many couples, who were enjoying the romantic and serene view, while others came to enjoy the great ambience and tranquility of the place.

We also strolled in the park rejuvenating with the greenery and the isolation of the place. The adjacent beach was adding to the grace of the place. We were randomly roaming around, talking with each other, looking at the couples walking hand in hand, children playing and running, elderly people enjoying a steady walk. The place has something to offer to everyone. We also took a number of pictures of the life that seemed like dancing on the beach. We sat there in the park till sunset, and were spellbound by the view of orange ball of sun departing in the green sea waters. We spent considerable time there and poured our hearts out to each other. That was a valuable time that we spent with each other, after so long; and I give the entire credit to that awesome place.
